Nardino Farm Facilities 

Located 30 minutes away from the Pakenham Race Club where we conduct a mixture of our work, at the Nardino Farm we have the ease and ability to provide the following to our horses. 

  • Horse Treadmill – A controlled and safe environment for aerobic exercise allows horses to work evenly without the influence of a rider, increasing cardiovascular activity, muscle tone, strength, and stride length, and facilitating warm-ups, cool-downs, fitness maintenance, and rehabilitation after injuries.


  • Dressage Arena – To vary the training regimen, enhance cognitive agility, address any behavioral issues in a controlled setting, and expose them to obstacles that can optimize a racehorse’s performance.


  • Boxes with a secure paddock – At Nardino Racing, we prioritise maximizing racehorse performance while promoting animal welfare. To achieve this, we ensure each horse has access to an open-faced horse box with the option of paddock access concurrently.


PAKENHAM TRAINING COMPLEX

Situated approximately one hour from Melbourne, the Pakenham Race Club stands as one of Australia's premier racing and training precincts. Hosting more than 30 meetings annually, the Club is renowned for its extensive facilities, among the finest in the southern hemisphere. These include:

  • A 2400m Grass Course Proper
  • A 2000m Polytrack
  • An 1800m Training Grass Track
  • Two Sand Tracks
  • A 50m Swimming Pool
  • A 1400m Hill

These facilities underscore Pakenham Race Club's commitment to providing world-class amenities for both racing events and training purposes. 


Norsemans Road Beach Access 

Located 20 minutes away from the Nardino Farm we have the ability to mix up our work and provide the following benefits to our horses. 

  • Long sandy stretches contribute significantly to fitness development.
  • Riding on sand promotes muscle tone and strength.
  • Water walking post-work accelerates horse recovery.
  • Providing horses with diverse environments enhances their mental wellbeing, acknowledging their intelligence and curiosity.
  • Swimming with horses at the beach can effectively soothe sore limbs and aid in healing skin complaints.


Spelling Facilites 

Our spelling facility, situated just 2 minutes from our main farm, allows us to monitor our horses daily. It features multiple boxes, secure fencing, and grass paddocks, ensuring we can provide ultimate care for our horses.
